Tetra Tech, Inc. (Tetra Tech), the parent company of EMC, was founded in 1966 to provide engineering services related to waterways, harbors, and coastal areas. During the past 40 years, we have substantially increased the size and scope of our business and expanded our service offerings through strategic acquisitions and internal growth.

Tetra Tech now provides environmental services, water/wastewater management, infrastructure services, security design, information systems development and integration, systems engineering and test & evaluation, and outsourced technical services. In 2005, Tetra Tech employed nearly 7,500 personnel located in more than 250 offices worldwide. The company is based in Pasadena, California.
