Past Performance: SSI personnel have led V&V efforts on SBIRS Low, BMD, NMD, Missile Warning, Space Surveillance and Ballistic Missile programs in accordance with Defense Modeling and Simulation organization guidelines.  SSI personnel have provided studies, analysis, concept, architecture development system synthesis, preliminary design, system troubleshooting and problem solving.  SSI personnel, for example, have provided these services on high-priority defense efforts including Minuteman, Peacekeeper BMD, NMD, Missile Warning, Space Track, DSP, TDRSS, GPS, and Milstar.  SSI personnel have led simulation and modeling efforts for NMD, BMD, ITW/AA, GPALS, and SDI, and have also developed medium- and high -fidelity simulations currently in use by the Missile Warning and BMD communities.  The SSI Systems Engineering Division applies the systems engineering process to activities throughout the system life cycle, with emphasis on the concept and requirements development phases. SSI personnel participate in concurrent engineering efforts with our customers to ensure system solutions that meet ongoing mission needs.
